History  
Thompson Plumbing & Heating is a family owned business. Dale Thompson Sr. purchased the business in 1964 from Dave Roach. The business operated out of what is now My Papa's Restaurant until it moved to its present location in the late 60's. Three generations of the Thompson family are involved in the business today. All of our employees are factory trained & highly qualified. We are proud to be Monroe County's only Bryant Factory Authorized Dealer. Our Employees belong to the Local 671 Plumbers & Pipefitters & Local 33 Sheet Metal Workers.

THACCA

THACCA has a long history of political advocacy in Northwest Ohio and its views are sought out by local and state elected officials. THACCA provides input to governmental jurisdictions when they are considering legislation or regulations which will impact on the HVAC industry. The THACCA Political Action Committee is the vehicle by which members can contribute to public officials whose actions affect the industry.

HBA

HBA is a trade association that helps to promote the policies that make housing a national priority. We were chartered on May 16, 1969. The HBA consists of Builder members regulated by the State of Michigan and Associate members (suppliers, subcontractors, industries and professionals) affiliated with the building industry.
SMWIA

The Sheet Metal Workers’ International Association (SMWIA) serves to protect and raise the living standards of over 150,000 skilled men and women employed throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.  We work in the construction, manufacturing, service, railroad and shipyard industries.

The SMWIA strives to establish and maintain desirable working conditions for its members through their employers.  Doing so provides them that measure of comfort, happiness, and security to which every member is entitled to in return for his or her highly trained and skilled labor.
